Mindfulness has been introduced to our modern life by Jon Kabat-Zinn from 1979 in America with the creation of the Stress Reduction Clinic. He started to become more popular around the world with the success of his book "Full Catastrophe Living" in 1991. He made it simple and natural for modern society to progress on being present to the moment.
